What does Aire do?

When you apply for a credit product with one of our lending partners, you will be taken through an Aire virtual interview. Aire will assess your responses, and share the results with the lender.

The additional information we send to the lender will help them to assess your application. Aire does not make any decisions about whether to grant credit. The lender will use the information we provide, along with other data they have, to make a decision on your application.

If I use Aire, will I definitely get approved for credit?

Aire provides information based on your virtual interview to help lenders understand your personal circumstance and assess your application. Using our service does not guarantee being accepted for credit. Whilst the data you provide will often support your application, in some circumstances it may lead to your application being declined.

Can Aire help me change my credit record with other credit reference agencies?

Each credit reference agency holds their own version of your credit record and Aire cannot influence the information held by these organisations. If you would like to review or change the information held by any of the other credit reference agencies, you should reach out to them directly.

Can I see the information Aire holds about me?

Aire will only hold data about you if you have applied for credit with one of our lending partners and completed the Aire Virtual Interview. If you would like to see all the information Aire holds about you, please contact us on the link below and we will inform you about how to get your data. Your request will be made under the Data Protection Act 1998, and will be supplied free of charge.

I think some of the information Aire holds on me is incorrect, what can I do?

No worries, just let us know what you think is incorrect and we will investigate it. If a correction is required, we will complete this within 28 days. Our contact details are below.

How can I get in touch with Aire?

If you are still not satisfied it also explains how you can contact the Financial Ombudsman Service to help resolve the dispute.
